Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Berwyn, PA seeks a trained graphic designer who blends strong creative skills with hands-on experience using Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.

The role applies AI to real-world design and marketing challenges while maintaining high standards for brand and design quality, and works as part of Corporate Marketing. The position requires an in‑office presence four days per week at the Berwyn headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related creative discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional design experience in an agency, in‑house creative team, or similar environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, visual communication, typography, layout, and concept development skills.
• Hands‑on experience using Generative AI as part of the creative process.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Express, and InDesign.
• Experience using AI tools for creative applications such as Adobe Firefly, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar models.

Responsibilities

• Design creative assets for digital, print, presentation, video, social, and other marketing applications.
• Use AI and Generative AI tools to develop concepts, imagery, content, and creative solutions that support marketing and brand initiatives.
• Explore, test, and evaluate emerging AI tools for practical use within Creative and Marketing.
• Develop and refine AI‑assisted creative workflows that improve quality, speed, and efficiency.
• Create and refine prompts and workflows to produce high‑quality, brand‑appropriate AI‑generated content.
• Evaluate AI‑generated creative for quality, accuracy, brand consistency, and usability.
• Partner with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand creative needs and identify opportunities to apply AI.
• Share AI knowledge, successful workflows, and best practices, and help train Creative and Marketing teams on effective use of AI tools.
• Stay current with developments in Generative AI, creative technology, design, and visual communication.

We’re looking for a trained graphic designer who combines strong creative skills with hands‑on experience using Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI. Working as part of AMETEK’s Corporate Marketing team, this role applies AI to real‑world design and marketing challenges, explores new creative possibilities, and helps the team use emerging tools effectively while maintaining high standards for brand and design quality. Based out of the Berwyn, PA headquarters office, the role requires an in‑office presence 4 days per week.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design, visual communication, typography, layout, and concept development skills.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience using Generative AI as part of the creative process.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Express, and InDesign.
• Experience using AI tools for creative applications such as Adobe Firefly, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar models.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI‑generated outputs.
