Job summary

Coral Reef Subacute Care Center is seeking an Activity Assistant to facilitate group activities, supervise participation, and help organize supplies. You will support 1-on-1 engagements, transport residents, and assist with outings and special events to enrich resident lives.

Ideal candidates have a musical or art background, a Diploma or GED, and a creative, self-motivated approach. Some weekend/evening/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a musical or art background.
• Diploma or GED required.
• Creativity is essential.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia and special needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities.
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance.
• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized.
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities.
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties.
