Job summary

Kemps in Rockford, IL is seeking a well-versed Machine Operator to maintain, set up and troubleshoot equipment while producing finished or raw materials in a fast-paced dairy environment. You will follow GMPs and work with various teams to meet daily deadlines.

The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime including weekends. Competitive benefits accompany the position, and DFA promotes from within.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Kemps has immediate job opening for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

OUR MACHINE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION START AT:

• 30.36 per hour

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
