Job summary

JPMorganChase in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Real Estate Banking Analyst to join the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) group. You will gain hands-on exposure to Sales/Originations, Credit/Risk, Treasury Services, and Portfolio Management while supporting the CRE team.

You will work with team members, participate in projects, and learn about the types of clients your team serves, with opportunities to network and train to sharpen your analytical skills for a successful CRE career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, Graduation in December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025.
• Relevant internship or coursework in real estate.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling & risk grading to support transactions
• Collateral & market analysis
• Preparation of marketing materials for client meetings (financing alternatives and market trends)
• Sponsorship & guarantor analysis
• Assisting in the completion of credit approval memos and annual reviews
• Summarize key deal metrics for loan letters of intent
• Support sales teams with ad-hoc requests, property inspections and market research
• Portfolio monitoring and management
• Learn about treasury services tailored to CRE and end-to-end sales process
• Develop understanding of JPMorgan Chase products and service offerings
