Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and grow a diverse CRE portfolio. You will partner with Relationship Managers to evaluate lending opportunities, monitor performance, and provide sound credit recommendations to support growth and client success.

Applicants should have a finance-related bachelor’s degree, 3+ years CRE lending/credit experience, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years in CRE lending, underwriting, credit analysis, or credit approval.
• Strong financial analysis and portfolio management skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower, guarantor, property, and market information to evaluate loan requests, renewals, modifications, and reviews.
• Prepare comprehensive credit analyses and recommendations for lending decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loan repayment activity and financial trends to identify risk.
• Maintain accurate risk ratings and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to support client retention and portfolio growth.
