Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a CRE loan underwriting professional to support the Loan Management team within Global Banking and Markets. The role focuses on underwriting/overseeing commercial real estate loans, evaluating opportunities, and coordinating with property managers, vendors, and legal partners to optimize financing structures.

The candidate will use ARGUS and Excel for cash flow modeling, due diligence, and market analysis, delivering memos and reports to senior management and clients

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in originating/underwriting CRE loans and/or managing performing/distressed assets.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong academic background.

Responsibilities

Underwrite, manage and oversee commercial real estate loans the firm is interested in.
Analyze and present opportunities and risks in specific sectors and markets.
Prepare and present transaction memos summarizing due diligence and credit analysis.
Prepare monthly reporting packages for management and clients.
Coordinate internal and external resources to analyze investment opportunities.
Monitor business plan performance and make strategic recommendations.
