Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Credit Analyst to gather and analyze financial information to determine creditworthiness for loans in commercial real estate. You will prepare written evaluations of borrowers' financial condition and future outlook, and identify strengths and risks related to sponsors and guarantors.

Travel may be required; you will obtain required documents, monitor reporting requirements, and analyze loan data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Related internship/work experience in finance or banking preferred.
• Related internship/work experience in a Commercial Real Estate environment preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Completion of Huntington's Credit College within designated timeframe.

Requirements

• Confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Successful completion of Huntington's Credit College (3 consecutive weeks in Columbus, Ohio) in a timeframe designated by management
• Ability to undertake periodic travel throughout Huntington's footprint
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up
• Excellence in customer service; highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented
• Ability to work independently and in groups on multiple tasks without compromising quality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet resources
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
