Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing commercial real estate bridge lending platform in New York to recruit an Asset Manager. This role focuses on overseeing a national portfolio of bridge loans across multifamily and commercial real estate assets, with direct exposure to loan servicing, construction monitoring, and real estate credit analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–7+ years of commercial real estate asset management, loan servicing, bridge lending, or related CRE finance experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial and multifamily real estate assets.
• Experience with portfolio monitoring, underwriting analysis, or servicing functions preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a national portfolio of commercial and multifamily bridge loans to ensure borrower business plans and loan covenants are being achieved.
• Maintain regular communication with borrowers regarding property performance, project updates, and loan compliance.
• Analyze monthly financial reporting and update internal underwriting and portfolio models.
• Review variances between pro forma and actual property performance and report findings to senior management.
• Administer construction and renovation draw requests and review supporting documentation.
• Monitor real estate tax, insurance, escrow accounts, and monthly loan payments.
• Review billing statements and assist with servicing-related reporting functions.
• Support management of watchlist, non-performing loans, and REO assets.
• Develop independent opinions on collateral valuation, borrower business plans, and overall loan risk.
• Assist with operational improvement initiatives, portfolio data integrity, and AI-driven process enhancements.
• Support recurring lender, fund, and warehouse line reporting deliverables.
