Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking an Associate, Debt Asset Management (Bridge Lending) in Boston to help manage a portfolio of bridge loans and perform in-depth financial analysis. You will collaborate with senior leaders and credit managers to assess risk, monitor performance, and support securitization reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CFA a plus.
• Demonstrated advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of bridge loans and asset performance.
• Review draw requests with supporting documentation from Servicer and Borrower.
• Analyze trends, compare to underwriting, and identify issues.
• Engage with servicers/asset managers to ensure data availability and issue identification.
• Assist with securitization reporting and loan performance analysis.
• Provide exposures for market, sponsor, and loan characteristics to Credit Managers.
• Prepare watchlist summaries for Leadership and Investment Committee.
• Assist in negotiation of loan modifications and extensions with evidence-based recommendations.
