Job summary

Ascension Saint Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for full-time evenings (3pm–11:30pm). You will inspect, assemble and validate instrument sets, decontaminate and sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory while following established procedures.

CRCST certification is required prior to hire, with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.

• CRCST certification is required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, assemble and evaluate surgical instruments and sets to ensure quality and completeness.
• Operate sterilization equipment and inspect instruments and containers for cleanliness and proper function.
• Perform decontamination of soiled instruments and containers per IFUs and protocols.
• Maintain inventory to support case carts.
• Conduct regular quality assurance audits.
