Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16".
• Experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Proficiency with common power tools.
• Ability to audit orders against pick lists and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Audit the order against the pick list and verify quantities and part numbers.
• Determine crate size by measuring largest pieces and estimating overall dimensions.
• Select lumber and cut to size; assemble crate and secure parts.
• Photograph parts on order before loading and during crate assembly.
• Move crates safely using a forklift and prepare crates for shipping.
