Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Huntley, IL is seeking a Shipper I to support warehouse operations, preparing, packing, and shipping customer orders. The role involves building crates with power tools, maintaining shipping accuracy, and safely operating a forklift when needed.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of shipping experience, forklift proficiency, basic data entry skills, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of shipping experience.
• Forklift experience required; ability to safely operate equipment and complete inspections.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in custom-built crates.
• Build and modify shipping crates using power tools such as drills, screw guns, and saws.
• Pick, stage, label, and prepare outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and perform quality checks on incoming materials.
• Operate a forklift safely as needed (approximately 5% of the role) and follow all safety procedures.
