Job summary

Staffmark Group in Houston, TX is hiring Crate Assemblers to build wooden crates, kit components, and pack products for order fulfillment. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and attention to detail, with working hours from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

• Previous assembly, kitting, or manufacturing experience
• 1 year Crate Building Experience
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work every shift
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using hand tools or basic equipment

Responsibilities

• Crating:Building wooden crates
• Kitting:Gather specified components or parts from inventory to assemble into a single kit or package.
• Packing:Package products, both pre-kitted and individual items, into appropriate boxes or containers.
• Order fulfillment:Accurately pull, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily customer orders or production work orders.
• Quality control:Perform routine checks to ensure all packages are correct, properly sealed, and meet quality standards.
• Inventory and documentation:Keep inventory organized and accessible, and log relevant paperwork, shipping information, and labels.
• Machine operation: Keep packaging machines supplied with materials and labels, and perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Safety:Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
