Job summary

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking a motivated Yard Helper to perform maintenance and cleanup of equipment, rigging inventory, and small assemblies.

This is an entry level, full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits and a $100 bonus after 100 days of successful employment. Essential functions include yard maintenance, cleaning cranes and heavy trucks, loading/unloading cranes and components, and assisting other crafts on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Must work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in varying temperatures/humidity.
• Operate hand and power tools and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean equipment, buildings and yard area.
• Clean and pressure wash cranes and heavy trucks.
• Assist in loading/unloading cranes and components.
• Provide physical labor at construction sites and assist other crafts.
• Operate hand and power tools and a variety of equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
