Job summary

LaValley Building Supply seeks a Crane Truck Operator to safely operate crane-equipped trucks on construction sites across New England. You will lift, move, and place heavy materials, perform pre-operation inspections, and coordinate with site teams to ensure efficient, safe lifts.

Required are a CDL with endorsements, prior crane truck experience, knowledge of OSHA safety standards, and the ability to read load charts, blueprints, and site plans. NCCER certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL with appropriate endorsements required.
• Experience operating crane trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards related to crane operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane trucks to lift, move, and position heavy materials per project specs and safety rules.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane trucks.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and personnel to plan lifts and ensure safe material handling.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including load limits, signaling, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain records of operations and maintenance as required by policy and regulations.
