Job summary

CF&I Steel, L.P. in Pueblo, Colorado is looking for a Crane Technician responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing cranes and rigging. Candidates must have at least 2,000 hours of relevant experience, be certified in crane mechanical or electrical maintenance, and maintain additional certifications in crane inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2,000 hours of relevant crane maintenance experience.
• Must understand how to identify deficiencies and make repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and mobile equipment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, service and repair cranes and rigging.
• Remove cranes from service when deemed unsafe.
• Take courses and pass certification tests in crane maintenance.

Skills

Certified in Crane Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance

Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing cranes

Understanding of hand signals for crane operation

Education

Certification as a Crane Inspector and Rigging Inspector
