Capco Crane & Hoist, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Crane Technician to install, inspect, and maintain hoist and crane equipment on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with cranes, hoists, 3-phase motors, VFDs, and electrical systems, with a strong safety mindset. Capco offers comprehensive benefits, a 401K plan, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
• Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work; troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance; and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls.
• Support customers by interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and /or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
• Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas.
• Develop a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
• Responsible for company equipment including, company vehicle(s), tools, etc.
