Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Crane Structural Welder/Fabricator in Sparks, NV to weld and fabricate crane components using MIG, TIG, and stick methods. You will read blueprints, follow drawings, and ensure weld quality while maintaining safety and efficiency on the job site.

The role requires experience with structural welding, crane machinery, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a structural welder, preferably with crane or heavy machinery experience.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS or other recognized certifications) is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Thorough knowledge of various metals and welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements for crane components.
• Weld and fabricate crane components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Operate fabrication tools and welding machines and use bridge cranes to complete tasks.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and proper tool storage.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure proper fit and alignment of components.
• Assist in assembly and installation of crane structures when necessary.
