Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Crane Service Technician – Level 2 to join our field service team. This role focuses on inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, with emphasis on 480VAC motor control and safety.

You will work on-site at customer facilities, perform complex troubleshooting, document work reports, and communicate with customers about issues and solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Preferred: AA degree or equivalent vocational training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Generate sales leads during service calls.
• Accurately document the work performed on the service report.
• Perform wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up of new cranes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
