Job summary

Wells is seeking a Yard Rigger in the United States to safely direct crane operations during lifting, moving and placement of precast panels. The role requires careful signaling, clear communication with the crane operator, and strict adherence to safety policies.

You will work with rigging equipment, help store and ship panels, and perform duties at heights in a fast-paced production setting. We value safety, teamwork, reliability and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be safety-focused with clear communication and teamwork.
• Able to work at heights and maintain situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Signal crane operator during panel lifting and placement.
• Use rigging devices for transportation, storage and shipping of precast panels.
• Hook and unhook lifting cables, ring clutches and spreader bars.
• Guide cranes and stay in constant radio contact with the operator to avoid blind spots.
• Place dunnage to store panels in racks or trailers for shipping.
