CBH Homes is seeking a Crane Operator to operate a crane for truss setting in residential construction. The role emphasizes safety, precise load handling, and adherence to procedures.

This position requires a Crane Operator Certification and a valid DOT-compliant driving record, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. Responsibilities include loading materials, maintaining and inspecting the crane, and ensuring safe operation around customers and construction personnel.

Qualifications

• Crane Operator Certification is required.
• 1+ years' experience in truck driving.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Good written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to deal courteously with customers, co-workers, and construction personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operates crane with standard boom lengths and angles for loads within capacity.
• Loads roofing material and ensures load is secure.
• Observes load hookup and determines safety of the load.
• Manipulates crane controls to regulate speed and direction as instructed.
• Inspects crane for defects and notifies supervisor of issues.
• Maintains crane and hoisting mechanism and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; Monday-Saturday.
