Job summary

Prestige Greeters in Akron is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our construction team. You will operate heavy cranes on site, lift and position materials, and work in varying weather conditions.

The role requires at least 2 years of crane experience, a valid crane certification, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication in English. This is a full-time, on-site position with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of crane operating experience.
• Valid crane certification/licensing required for operating different crane types.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow lift plans accurately.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination with strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate various cranes on site (tower, mobile, overhead).
• Inspect and maintain crane equipment for safe operation.
• Receive instructions from supervisors and plan each lift.
• Coordinate with ground crew for safe material movement.
• Maneuver crane into position using signals or radio.
• Monitor load weight and adjust crane accordingly.
• Follow safety protocols at all times; prevent accidents.
• Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance.
