Job summary

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Akron As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to lift move and position materials on construction sites or in industrial settings This is a physically demanding job that requires precise hand-eye coordination excellent communication skills and the ability to work in various weather conditions

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes such as tower cranes mobile cranes and overhead cranes
• Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure safe operation
• Receive instructions from supervisors and plan each lift accordingly
• Coordinate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials
• Maneuver crane into position using hand signals or radio communication
• Monitor load weight and adjust crane accordingly
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator
• Valid certification or license for operating different types of cranes
• Strong knowledge of crane mechanics and safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills
• Good communication skills in English additional languages are a plus
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this full-time position
