Job summary

NorthwestCorp, a family-owned company serving Midwest customers, is hiring crane operators for full-time roles based in Sioux Falls, SD. You will mobilize and operate 55T–400T cranes, ensuring safety and compliance while coordinating with rigging crews and project managers.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, demobilization, inspections, and overseeing load attachment. Overtime and travel are involved with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• NCCCO certification or equivalent.
• Experience operating cranes and understanding load charts.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize and demobilize boom trucks, truck cranes, and all-terrain cranes (55T–400T) to/from jobsites.
• Safely operate cranes following NCCCO standards, manufacturer guidelines, and safety policies.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset and use PPE per site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with ground crews and coordinate with riggers to secure loads.
• Meet project schedules without compromising safety or quality.
