Garney Construction is hiring a Crane Operator in Suffolk, VA. Candidates must be NCCCO certified. The role may include laborer functions as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Knowledge of crane/boom signals, blocks and tackle, wire rope, synthetic rope and slings, safe working loads, and proper rigging procedures.
• Operate hydraulic or crawler cranes.
• Understand safe working loads and signals.
• Knowledge of equipment mechanics and maintenance.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• NCCCO crane operator certification for Hydraulic and Crawler Cranes.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate.
