Job summary

Advanced Roofing, Inc in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our onsite construction team. You will operate telescopic boom cranes, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and productivity on every job site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ crane operating experience.
• Valid NCCCO crane certification.
• Valid CDL license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment tests and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Operate telescopic boom crane with various cabs and boom trucks to lift and position equipment and materials on construction sites.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and calculate crane capacities and rigging requirements.
• Operate crane smoothly to minimize wear and ensure safe lifting operations.
• Conduct timely crane inspections each shift and maintain inspection records.
• Record and log inspection data and maintenance actions.
• Lubricate cranes and grapples as required.
• Operate other heavy equipment when needed.
