Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with airbrake endorsement.
• NCCCO Crane Operator Certification on file.
• NCCCO Rigger/Signalperson Certification preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years crane and rigging experience.
• Clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work long hours and 5-6 days a week in all environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under general supervision.
• Manipulate controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
• Inspect crane for safety issues daily.
• Lift, position and place machinery and loads at construction sites.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Set blocks and outriggers to prevent tipping when lifting heavy loads.
• Follow all company, NCCCO, DOT, OSHA, MiOSHA safety rules.

Education

CDL A license with airbrake endorsement

NCCCO Crane Operator Certification

NCCCO Rigger/Signalperson Certification (preferred)

High School Diploma or GED

3-5 years crane and rigging experience
