Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Crane operator certification.
• Physical requirements: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load.
• Manipulates crane controls to regulate speed and direction per instructions.
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
• May attach load to hook or another crane accessory prior to operating crane.
