Berkel & Company is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to safely lift, move, and position materials and equipment in support of field operations. The role requires knowledge of crane hand signals per ANSI standards and the ability to operate lattice boom or displacement cranes on drilling and platform projects.

The candidate should have a high-school diploma or GED, 2 years of related experience or training, a valid driver's license, and a CCO or comparable certification.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of related work experience or training.
• Valid Driver's license.
• CCO or comparable certification required.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor repairs on the crane.

Responsabilités

• Observe the assembly and disassembly of the crane to determine proper safety measures are being followed.
• Operate the crane in a safe manner and in accordance with written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Clean and maintain the crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Conduct daily crane inspections and notify the site supervisor of any defective parts for repair.
• Prevent damage to equipment due to mistakes, carelessness, and incorrect process or procedures.
