Job summary

Commercial Metals in Cantonment, FL is seeking an entry-level production operator to support our concrete, reinforcement, and manufacturing processes. You’ll operate control stations, keep machines clean, assure material quality, and help meet production schedules.

No college degree required beyond a high school diploma; 1+ year of industry experience preferred; English required, basic computer skills; training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience.
• English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate control station and header cart
• Ensure machine is clean and is in good working order
• Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement)
• Inspect wire cages / reinforcements
• Supply machine with necessary components to make product
• Meet production schedule numbers
• Produce quality product
• Be able to perform basic trouble shooting on production and concrete batching machinery
