Central Texas Steel Erectors in the Greater Austin area is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our growing team. You’ll safely operate hydraulic and lattice cranes on commercial construction projects, perform inspections, and collaborate with riggers and project managers.

We value safety and reliability, require NCCCO certification and local residency, offer a starting pay of $40.00/hour and a company truck, with opportunities for overtime on steady full-time work.

Qualifications

• Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (or equivalent).
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating cranes on commercial construction or steel erection projects.
• Verifiable experience operating both TLL and LBC cranes.
• Must reside in the Greater Austin area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Central Texas Steel Erectors is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused operators who live in the Greater Austin area and are committed to delivering quality work on structural steel projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydraulic and crawler cranes on commercial construction projects.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Work closely with steel erection crews, riggers, and project managers.
• Lift and place structural steel safely and efficiently.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain professionalism on every jobsite.

Requirements

• Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (or equivalent).
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating cranes on commercial construction or steel erection projects.
• Must have verifiable experience operating both TLL (Telescopic Lattice Boom Lift) and LBC (Lattice Boom Crawler) cranes.
• Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and jobsite safety.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in the Greater Austin area. We are looking for local candidates only.
