Job Summary

Automated Warehouse Technician is responsible for the efficient, safe, and accurate operation of the Cirrus Tech crane within the warehouse, performing assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities Include

• Report to work on time and clock in and out properly.
• Maintain cleanliness in all warehouse loading/unloading areas and grounds. Assist with filling the crane, retrieving pallets without damage, and ensuring proper pallet movements.
• Use RF guns, computers, and cameras to maintain inventory.
• Operate the crane efficiently during inbound, replenishment, and shuffle processes.
• Conduct daily/weekly maintenance and cleaning of the crane and surrounding areas.
• Perform equipment checks for wear and report issues.
• Assist with quarterly preventative maintenance with Cirrus Support teams.
• Maintain crane spare parts inventory.
• Ensure safe walking paths and proper pallet handling.
• Manage product rotation based on code dates.
• Report accidents immediately.
• Restock and rework returned products.
• Ensure all empty pallets are cleared and stored properly at shift end.
• Obtain forklift certification through the company.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, vendors, and retailers.
• Seek approval for extra hours and adhere to dress code and policies.
• Follow safety, inventory, and operational procedures.
• Support loading activities for second and third shifts as needed.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with warehouse equipment (walkie rider, pallet jack, forklift, scanners).
• Motivated and goal-oriented.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and pass background/MVR/drug screening.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Good time management skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

• Constant walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and handling objects.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Visual acuity, including close, color, and depth perception.
• Exposure to mechanical equipment, fumes, airborne particles; noise level usually quiet.
• Occasional weekend/overtime work.
