Job summary

CK Construction Group seeks a Crane Operator to handle the 50-ton Truck Crane on our busy Kentucky projects. You will support trades by delivering lifts, maintaining equipment, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include signaling the crane, moving loads within limits, performing daily maintenance, and coordinating with the ground crew and spotter to ensure safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• Must have crane operation familiarity and the ability to coordinate loads safely.
• Experience signaling ground crews using standard crane hand/voice signals.
• Proven commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures.
• Physical ability to sustain long shifts and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to communicate clearly with crew and follow spotter directions.

Responsibilities

• Safely supply the crane and hook to all trades.
• Move loads up to within the equipment load limits
• Control hydraulic levers, gas, and break.
• Responsible for loading items such as steel and concrete forms.
• Responsible for daily maintenance, lubricating and cleaning and safety check of the assigned crane.
• Communicate with ground crew to signal crane pick using both audible and hand crane signals.
