Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our 5-stage knuckle boom cranes. This position requires a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a dedication to safety protocols. Previous experience in tree removal is a plus.

Duties:

• Operate cranes to lift and relocate heavy trees according to project specifications.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of knuckle boom cranes and other equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
• Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Assist in operating additional heavy equipment such as tractors, lulls, or bucket trucks as necessary.

Skills:

• Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly in crane operation.
• Experience with loaders, tractors, lulls, or bucket trucks is a plus.
• Previous experience in landscaping or tree removal is a plus.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise equipment maneuvering.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while being self-motivated.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with on-site team members.

Hours & Pay

• Full time position
• Pay range: Starts at $21 an hour and goes up from there based on experience and skill
• Monday to Friday / 40-50 hours per week
