Worley is seeking a Crane Operator for our industrial construction team. The role involves operating traveling or stationary overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads, equipment, and materials at our site in Louisiana.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of industrial construction/maintenance experience, a valid crane operator certification, and NCCER certification (written or performance verified).

• Physical requirements: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions.

Responsabilidades

• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load.
• Manipulates crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions.
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
• May attach load to hook or another crane accessory prior to operating crane.

Position Summary

Operate traveling or stationary overhead crane to life, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk materials

Primary Responsibilities

• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load
• Manipulates or depresses crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism
• Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• May attach load to hook or another crane accessory prior to operating crane

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
• Crane operator certification
• NCCER Certified (written or performance verified)
