Job summary

Worley is seeking a Rigging/Hoisting Specialist to join our field teams in Louisiana. The role involves assembling rigging systems, guiding crane operators, and ensuring safe movement of equipment and materials on construction sites.

You will load, transport, and set up rigging gear, while coordinating with team members to maintain safe working conditions. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance, with knowledge of complex rigging, load charts, blueprint

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of complex rigging; heavy rigging; load charts; basic rigging.
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and cutting torches safety.
• Fire prevention and electrical safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Loads, transports, unloads and assists in selecting cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves according to load size and weight.
• Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attaches load with grappling devices to crane hook and directs crane operations for safe handling.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches; maintains cleanliness of tools.
• Assembles and disassembles cranes and splices rope and wire cables for slings or tackle.
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
