Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, seeks a Machine Operator (Crane) for 2nd and 3rd shifts to move and organize buns during foam production and to store using an overhead crane. The role requires lifting, visual quality checks, and accurate placement on the shipping line.

You will also perform inventory checks and coordinate with line operators to ensure efficient operations. A High School diploma or GED is required; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality consistently required.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains clean/work area.

Responsibilities

• At shift start, receive Drop List and directions for buns to pull.
• Review bun inventory to locate buns and determine pulling order.
• Organize and issue buns from storage bays per Drop List.
• Lift buns by crane and place on shipping line, check quality.
• Note any reclassifications of buns.
• Ensure buns are scanned from and to inventory locations.
• Follow safe operating procedures when operating crane.
• Track material transferred into department.
• Communicate with supervisor and other employees as needed.
• Check quality and report defects to supervisor.
• Assist with daily and monthly inventory; maintain housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
