Remote Overhead Crane Operator

Schedule: Monday - Friday, $16-19 per hour

Summary of Responsibilities:

This position involves setting up, adjusting, and operating the remote overhead crane to move materials throughout the designated area as assigned.

Specific Duties:

1. Set up, adjust, and operate crane equipment safely.
2. Report abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision.
3. Observe all safety rules and regulations; keep work area clean and orderly.
4. Monitor the continuous traffic of co-workers and tow motors moving throughout the shop.
5. Move raw materials such as steel plates, cut parts, and other materials from outside the shop.

Job Requirements:

• Reliable and dependable.

• Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor.
• Experience with plate hooks and magnets is a plus.
