Job summary

Oman OnlineConnect is seeking a Crane Operator to join our team on a US construction site. You will operate and maintain mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, reading blueprints to place materials accurately and performing routine inspections to ensure safe operation.

Job description

We are currently hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in the US

As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move materials equipment and machinery on construction sites

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain different types of cranes including mobile tower and overhead cranes
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine proper positioning and placement of materials
• Perform daily inspections on cranes and ensure they are in good working condition
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Communicate with riggers and signalers to ensure safe movement of materials
• Keep accurate records of daily activities including lifts completed and maintenance performed
• Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Crane Operator in the construction industry
• Valid certification or license to operate cranes
• Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
• Physical strength and stamina to work in outdoor conditions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Good communication skills

Salary

Salary $1100 per month negotiable based on experience

This is a full-time position with an immediate start
