Reports to: Operations Manager

TNT is looking to add experienced full-time crane operators to our growing branch. The following are the requirements; you must meet all of them to be considered for this position.

Location: Marion, Texas

Summary: Ensures safety, proper crane setup, and customer focus. Complies with all safety, environmental, state, and federal laws during operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review next day’s job assignment and prepare rigging and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Complete and submit field tickets, noting any chargeable equipment used.
• Record daily hours in payroll book; report hours to the branch by Monday 10:00 a.m.
• If not on a job, inspect, clean, and maintain equipment.
• Respond promptly to calls and messages.
• Assist in crane operation training.
• Review crane manuals periodically.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facilities.
• Read, interpret, and calculate load capacities using load charts.
• Program crane computer and set up crane safely on site.
• Ensure signal person understands and performs correct hand signals.
• Perform proper rigging for safe lifting.
• Inspect crane, truck, or trailer before operation and document findings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current state-issued CDL.
• Crane operating license (NCCCO or NCCER).
• At least 3 years of hydraulic crane operation experience.
• Ability to operate crane via hand signals.
