Job description

SCF Lewis and Clark Terminals LLC is seeking a Crane Operator for our team in St. Louis, MO. You will operate a material handler or crane to unload cargo and maintain daily inspection reports. We value flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities to keep things interesting!

What you'll be doing:

Crane Operation:

• Safely operate material handlers or cranes to unload cargo, lift, move, and position heavy materials with precision.
• Perform pre-operational checks and inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols.
• Coordinate with riggers and ground personnel for safe operations.
• Inspect and maintain the crane to ensure it is in optimal condition.

Material Handling:

• Manage movement, storage, and organization of materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, barges, and railcars.
• Keep accurate inventory records through proper labeling and documentation.
• Support operations using forklifts and other equipment as needed.

Maintenance and Reporting:

• Perform daily inspections on equipment.
• Maintain detailed reports of operations, inspections, and maintenance.
• Report defects, damages, or safety concerns promptly.

Additional Duties:

• Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow.
• Participate in safety meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
