Position Identification

Reports to: Foreman

Position Summary

• Operate, maintain, and inspect crane and rigs for construction projects as assigned.

Job Functions

• Coordinate with dispatch for job assignments.
• Operate and maintain the crane.
• Inspect crane and rigging.
• Read and analyze lift plans.
• Complete all paperwork for payroll, billing, maintenance, and safety in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain the crane safely.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Necessary)

• Class B commercial driver’s license.
• NCCCO telescopic boom crane fixed cab certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable)

• High School Graduate preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience.

Occupational Health and Safety

• Follow workplace policies and procedures for risk management.
• Participate actively in health and safety activities.
• Report health and safety risks, incidents, injuries, and property damage.

Working Conditions

Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.

Physical effort: Walking, turning, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders and scaffolding, lifting over 25 lbs., good hearing and vision required.

Travel: Daily travel between job sites from the same home office.

Hours: Subject to overtime.
