Role Description

This is a 3 month possible longer, on‑site Crane Operator role located in Roosevelt, UT. The Crane Operator will safely operate cranes and related heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials as directed by site supervisors. Daily responsibilities include performing pre‑and post‑operation equipment inspections, monitoring lifting conditions, and following load charts and signaling instructions. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, coordination with ground crews and other operators, and accurate documentation of activities and any maintenance needs. The Crane Operator will also assist with basic equipment upkeep, ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, and support general site operations as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in crane operation and experience working with cranes and other heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting operations, including load handling and rigging practices.
  • Familiarity with lifting equipment and related tools used in industrial or construction settings.
  • Ability to perform thorough inspections of cranes and lifting equipment to identify safety or maintenance issues.
  • Valid crane operator certification or license in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and manual handling.
  • Effective communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively with site supervisors, signalers, and crew members.
  • Previous experience in reclamation, construction, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is beneficial.
  • Oil feild knowledge a plus
  • Wireline and coil tubing knowledge would be fabulous.
