Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Shidler, OK is seeking a crane operator to operate stationary or traveling cranes, lifting and moving loads, and ensuring safe attachment before lowering.

You will follow signals, perform routine maintenance, and take charge of safety during setup, operation, and teardown. The role requires OSHA/ANSI knowledge and a current NCCCO certification, with ability to pass required drug/background tests.

Qualifications

• Must understand OSHA regulations and ANSI standards for crane operations.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and fit-for-duty assessment.
• Must hold a current NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.
• Select, attach, and secure loads; follow signals from personnel and adjust boom as needed.
• Perform routine crane maintenance and safety checks.
• Take complete charge of safety during setup, operation, and teardown of crane operations.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload equipment and materials.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Crane Operator Location: Shidler, OK Type: Full Time General Information/Job Summary Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depresses buttons, lifts levers, and ensures load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down.

Responsibilities/Competencies

• Operate a 70 - 100-ton
• May operate crane according to signals from personnel or helper may bolt, pin boom sections together to modify boom lengths.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Take complete charge of all safety pertaining to set up and knockdown and operation of crane.
• Drives trucks to worksites and unloads trucks.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
• Must possess a current NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.

Safety Requirements

• On a continual basis, promotes an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompany policies.
• Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program.
• Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education.
• Attends safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management.
• Attends various training classes as may be assigned by management.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work.
