Job Description

3rd Shift - Full Time

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Operate 30 ton or larger overhead crane and jib cranes.
• Hitch and unhitch all types of materials safely and properly.
• Locate, identify, receive, load, move, and store materials.
• Select proper chains, clevises, hooks, etc., and inspect all equipment before operating.
• Properly raise, lower, roll, move, and place loads.
• Follow documented procedures and standard work to perform safe operations.
• Operate power lift trucks as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with 30 ton or larger overhead or jib cranes.
• Successfully complete overhead crane and other operator-required training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to work overtime to support production demands.

Additional Information

• This position is located at the Caterpillar manufacturing facility in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
• Pay is Step 1 $26.47, Step 2 $27.41, Step 3 $28.34/hr plus a $1.00 shift premium for 3rd Shift.
• No relocation assistance is available.
