Job summary

Dunn Building Company is seeking a crane operator to move products and materials around job sites, load and unload trucks, and operate boom trucks with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include operating the crane using signals from riggers, inspecting equipment for defects, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and willingness to work overtime, travel as needed, and pass pre-employment drug testing and E-Verify.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Must be willing to travel, overtime/weekends/holidays as needed, pass a drug test and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane or boom truck to move products, equipment, or materials.
• Raise, lower, and rotate boom or load by signals from rigger.
• Inspect crane for defects and report issues.
• Maintain and lubricate equipment.

Summary

Operates crane or boom truck to move products, equipment, or materials to and from storage areas and building pads or to load and unload trucks by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pushes and pulls levers and depresses pedals to raise, lower, and rotate boom and to raise and lower load line.

Raises, lowers, and rotates boom or load by sight or according to signals from rigger.

Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.

Cleans, maintains, and lubricates equipment.
