Job summary

TAKKION TP&L Holdings LLC is hiring a Construction Crane Operator to operate stationary or traveling cranes, lift and position loads, and ensure safety of the load before placement. The role requires NCCCO certification, TLL/LBC, CDL and crane operator experience.

Responsibilities include daily crane inspection, following signals, operating boom and hoist, and completing required documentation. Work is on-the-road with standard weekday schedules and potential weekend availability.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification is required.
• TLL/LBC certification with 3+ years experience required.
• CDL driver's license required.
• Crane operator with 3+ years experience required.
• Wind energy experience preferred (4 years).

Responsibilities

• Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction.
• Inspect crane daily before operation.
• Determine and repair malfunctioning parts as needed.
• Complete job tickets and service quality summaries.
• Lift and move machinery at construction sites and facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload equipment.
• Place outriggers to prevent capsizing during lifts.
• Operate crane boom and load-line movements per signals.
• Bolt boom sections for pile driving or high lifts.
• Follow safety standards with precision and accuracy.
• Operate crane engine start/stop as required.
• Adhere to directions and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depress buttons, lift levers, and ensure load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down. Must be NCCCO Certified in TLL and LBC.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Inspect crane prior to operating on a daily basis.
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
• Repair crane as needed.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
• Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
• Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.
• Bolt boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.
• Work with in precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Operate crane according to signals from helper.
• Start and stop crane engine.
• Follow directions carefully.
• Other duties as assigned.
