We are looking for a Crane Operator to work in the following locations with the specified designations:
Operates lattice boom and telescopic/hydraulic cranes to perform duties for heavy highway/bridge construction projects.
NCCCO (or CIC) with LAT and TLL designations required. DOT medical card required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
5+ years related experience and/or training. Experience must be commensurate with project requirements (e.g., bridge or utility experience, use of hydraulic or friction crane) and therefore will vary by project.
English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.

Average: must calculate safe load levels from charts provided.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables when limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform this job. Use of arms, hands, and feet for loader controls 100% of the time; climb on and off machinery as necessary; sit on machinery 100% of time; stoop or kneel at least once daily for routine maintenance; specific vision abilities required (close, distance, peripheral, depth, focus adjustment). Tolerate vibration, movement over rough terrain, and occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and electrical shock.
While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Must work or walk on uneven ground, onboard floating equipment, and access barges, boats, and piers from moving surfaces due to water motion. Good vision and hearing are required for details at close and distant ranges.
Work environment includes moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, occasional toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and high noise levels. Sites may be isolated but are usually in tight, high‑traffic areas with high activity around equipment and workers.
Expected base pay range: $37.00/hr – $45.00/hr. This range is specific to the job level and considers education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
