The Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various cranes on docks and vessels. This includes lifting and moving heavy equipment, containers, pipes, systems, groceries boxes, and other materials used in the oil and gas industry.
*The Friction Crane Operator operates different types of cranes: Truck and Crawler cranes, hydraulic and friction types.*
- Commercial driving experience and a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in handling materials and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and backhoes
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments
