Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Dirt Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate a stationary or traveling crane, lift and position loads, and ensure the load is securely attached before each lift. You will erec t structures and move products, equipment, or materials to and from industrial work areas following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include daily equipment safety inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of operating equipment in a Construction setting.
• Must pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position and reposition loads.
• Ensure load is securely attached to crane before lifting.
• Erect structures and move products, equipment or materials in industrial work areas.
• Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow signals from the rigger and adhere to safety protocols.
